How is Testosterone replacement done?

Hormone replacement for men comes in many forms. Dr. Sorina will discuss  your medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms.  Together, you will decide the best option of Testosterone replacement.

Creams, gels, oral tablets, and injections are the some forms of hormone replacement therapy. Bioidentical Hormone pellets are the preferred option that provides several unique benefits for patients. Pellets offer superior convenience and effectiveness because there’s no need to remember to take a pill, apply a cream, or change a patch. Additionally, the amount of hormones released into the bloodstream by the pellets is consistent, causing fewer fluctuations that can happen with other hormone treatments.

Medical Insurance Questions

Medical insurance pays for some forms of HRT and currently do not pay for hormone pellets.  If you have out of network benefits we can provide you with a Superbill and your insurance might reimburse you for some of the cost.

How much does it cost?

Unlike other clinics who charge for labs and supplements as part of the treatment, we work with you to keep costs down.  We order labs through your insurance when possible, give you the option to shop around for best prices on supplements.

Prices start at $560 for most men (every 6 months).  A lot of our clients find that the cost is similar or only slightly higher than what they pay through insurance and for some it is actually lower.
